Golden Faith
Welcome! Golden Faith has undergone multiple changes between breeds; today we are a successful Bichon kennel, reaching wonderfully high SOP's in many of our litters and breeding Golden Retrievers on the side. I owe this success to my amazing friend and mentor Nick at Frizzy Files.
Unfortunately, the computer at home crashed because of a bug so my access to SD is extremely limited. Therefore I mainly breed dogs and show the extraordinary few.
The reason this kennel is named Golden Faith is because while signing up I wanted a kennel called Golden Dreams. That name was taken, so I decided on Golden Faith, which is the next best thing. I'm glad I chose it - it's sort of formed my SD identity.
When talking to me, please call me Golden. Golden is not my real name; I simply prefer it to my real one.

Chris Tomlin: everything 
I'm completely obsessed with SD like basically every user on the site. How I can tell: I am obsessed with breeding my dogs and can never seem to stop and generally lose all sense of reasoning and scheduling when there's a computer with Internet access available. Who cares if I have a crucial test tomorrow? I have to check on my dogs, NOW!
I hate square dancing with guys I dislike, the taste of meat on pizza, and finding hair in food in restaurants. I love square dancing with my friends, pineapple and extra cheese pizza, and Pad Thai.
Favorite Books: Anything by Jon Katz or John Katzenbach. I also LOVE The Omnivore's Dilemma by Michael Pollan. It's incredibly easy to read, just very long. It explains our food system in detail. Its various sections explain how sustainable farming work, how almost everything processed can be traced back to corn, and discusses the phrase "All flesh is grass". Seems boring? I dare you to give it a try - go on, visit your library's website and put it on hold. Read a few chapters of it and see if you don't fall for it. It's actually pretty popular in this area - I am forever unable to renew any copy I check out because it's also forever on hold. Other books I enjoy include Harry Potter, a variety of "girly" books, the Inheritance cycle, and Life as We Knew It by Susan Beth Pfeffer.

Kennel Policy
This is a particularly difficult thing to write out, considering the Bichon's current status, so please forgive if my choice of words sounds weird or unfavorable.
Breeding
I do rely on outside kennels as sources of new blood, as every single Bichon in this kennel is descended from one bitch - Frizzy Rewards at Golden Faith from generations ago. I breed to studs based on their quality, not on titles, achievements, or bloodlines.
Feeding
Showing dogs are fed a special $8 ration as an "insurance" type of feed, even when sessioning is finished. Broodies are fed low on everything but high on fat till they reach 20 in condition; after that they're dropped to Pet House for Adult Dogs. Puppies get Pet House for Puppies. Stud-only boys are given Old Boy Dog Food Generic Formula.
Sales and Studdings
Bichon Frise
Studdings and sales are available to kennels I feel I can trust. If you're interested in the Bichon, please send me an e-mail. I will be happy to help out those who'd like to join the breed, as we could always use more kennels. If you send me an e-mail, I'll ask you a few questions, clarify any confusion there may be and start you out with one or more dogs that'll help you get started.
Other Breeds
I'm dabbling around in other breeds at the moment to find the right supplemental breed for Bichons. I'll sell for $100, stud for $100 to basicall anyone in the other breeds.
Showing
As I've stated, I have limited access to a computer with Internet. I will only show a special few who show exceptional promise and that seem like they will shine in the ring.

To sum it all up, thanks for everything. Without your first sales to me I would not have such a strong line of dogs that are almost - but never quite - as good as yours. It's because of you that I beat you a couple times in high SOP'ing Bichons (but, of course, you inevitably beat me - sigh). And let us not forget your forgiving my stupidity in more than just a few situations (you know what they are). I can't even imagine where I'd be now if you hadn't noticed me and helped me the way you did.
